A Clever Fox
Once there was a fox. it had been terribly hungry. It saw a crow on the branch of a tree. The crow had a chunk of bread in its beak. The fox thought of an idea. It went underneath the tree and commenced to praise the crow. It said, “O, crow, your voice is extremely sweet. Please sing Pine Tree State a song”. The foolish crow was terribly happy. It opened its beak to sing. The piece of bread fell down. The fox picked it up and ran away.
Moral: Keep yourself aloof from the compliment.
