A Foolish Stag

A Foolish Stag

Once a thirsty stag came to a river to drink water. He saw his own reflection in the water. He thought, “How lovely horns I have! But my legs are ugly.” Suddenly he saw some hunters and hounds. He ran away with great speed was safe from them but unfortunately, his horns got entangled into the bushes. He could not escape from the bushes. Soon the hounds came there and tore his body into pieces. The horns which he appreciated became the cause of his death while legs tried to save him.
